HOT News At CAM:
CAM has relocated to new and improved digs in Burlington, NC. The City of Durham purchased our former facility to build a new Police HQ, forcing us to move after 15 years. While moving has been a real pain, we're very happy in the new place.

We are the proud title sponsor of the 2007 Carolina Auto Masters National Corvette Challenge, to be held February, 24th 2007 at Richmond Dragway. If you have a Corvette, please register for the Challenge.
There will also be a Benefit Car Show held at the Challenge, to benefit Sonny Parks.

CAM played host to the North Carolina Chapter of the Diesel Truck Resource for a Dyno Day on February 17th. There were many impressive trucks there, but John Porterfield's 96 Dodge Ram 2500 was the clear star of the day. He laid down 809 rwhp and 1414 rwtq making him the #3 on the CAM High Horsepower club. Check out the video here.

Of all the really crazy and fun projects we've been involved in, Dug Strickler's "Volvette" (Twin turbo LS1 in a Volvo wagon, yes, wagon) is truly memorable. Check the insane videos here.

Scott Hudson's Z06 made 498 rwhp 459 rwtq with just Kooks Z06 Long tube headers and a tune, and other really nice stuff from Zip Corvettes. Scott also ran 11.36@125 before the dyno tune! Better times and more mods are on the way! See his graph here.

Jeff Gilbert's Carolina Auto Masters sponsored Trans Am was featured in an episode of the hit Speed Channel show PINKS, which originally aired on March 15, 2006. The "TA versus Honda" episode was voted one of the most popular of the series. You can enjoy shots of the TA and both Jeffs negotiating hard in several commercials as well as print ads in most car mags. We're also featured in the PINKS game on the Speed Channel website.
